What exactly separates Curry from Lillard?

Hi,

Based on this season, the gap is getting smaller between the two.Dame has been
doing more with less and taken that next step. In terms of range he’s right there with Curry.
I find it unfair how Curry is seen as a tier 1 point guard while Lillard in the next couple tiers.Thoughts?
Please help.
